I collected a water sample from alongside a local klong (canal), where water was sloshing onto the sidewalk. I scraped off a sample of algae that was growing on the wet concrete. The sample was loaded with Diatoms, Euglenoids and Coleps, along with some Rotifers, Spirostomum and other microorganisms.

These diatom images are single exposures (not focus stacks).
