This Macrostomum, a hermaphroditic, free-living flatworm, looked ravenous and was attempting to eat from a piece of detritus when filming began. Macrostomum means “big-mouthed.”

Unsatisfied, Macrostomum searched for more food and came across a Testudinella patina Rotifer.
