The final larval stage of microscopic bivalve mollusks. Prevalent in a marine sample of water and sediment from the shoreline of the Gulf of Thailand. Some of these may be pediveligers – a transitional stage when the velum (a ciliated lobed structure used for swimming and collecting food) disappears and the bivalve uses only a foot to move.
