Foraminifera Pseudopodial Net

Foraminifera is a single-cell organism commonly encased in a protective shell called a test. Cellular protoplasm extrudes from the test to form a pseudopodial net. This streaming granular ectoplasm catches food and is used for movement.

The test in this video was hidden by algae, but the web and streaming ectoplasm are clear.
