Notommata tripus is a freshwater Rotifer with several unique features. It has a finger-like appendage between its toes, however that isn’t the subject of this video. Here we take a close look at the field of cilia surrounding its gut.

This Rotifer was found in a sample from my pond water microorganism aquarium.
